By accessing or using Laundry Lane services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

Laundry Lane provides laundry, dry cleaning, and related garment care services with pickup and delivery. Services are subject to availability in your area and may vary based on location.

3. Orders and Pricing

  • Prices are as displayed on our website and may change without prior notice.
  • Minimum order values may apply for certain services.
  • Final pricing is based on actual weight/count determined after pickup.
  • Additional charges may apply for heavily soiled items, stain treatment, or special care requirements.

4. Pickup and Delivery

  • You must be available at the scheduled time for pickup and delivery.
  • If you're unavailable, a rescheduling fee may apply.
  • We are not responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • Express service availability is subject to capacity.

5. Garment Care and Liability

  • We handle all garments with care but are not liable for damage to items that are inherently defective or weakened by age, use, or prior cleaning.
  • Check pockets before handover. We are not responsible for items left in pockets.
  • Claims for damage or loss must be made within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Compensation for loss or damage is limited to 10 times the cleaning cost of the item or its actual value, whichever is lower.
  • We are not responsible for color bleeding, shrinkage, or damage caused by improper care labels.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon delivery (Cash on Delivery).
  • We reserve the right to hold items until payment is received.
  • Items unclaimed for more than 30 days may be disposed of.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before pickup at no charge.
  • Cancellation after pickup may incur partial charges.
  • Express orders cannot be cancelled once processing begins.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

If you're not satisfied with our cleaning quality, contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We'll re-clean the items at no additional cost. Refunds are provided at our discretion.

9. User Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts for violations.

10. Prohibited Items

We do not accept:

  • Items contaminated with hazardous materials
  • Items with excessive pest infestation
  • Items that violate any laws

11. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, text, images, and design, is the property of Laundry Lane and protected by intellectual property laws.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
